Birch plywood 20x20cm
Encaustic wax
paper, cotton, silk, silver foil
Nu de eindopdracht van Quilten Speciaal af is, kan ik me hier eindelijk op gaan storten (met nog 10 andere projecten die ik toch graag een keer wil afmaken)
This panel is made of birch plywood with encaustic wax on top.
In spring, Marjon, Marloes and me joined the workshop Encaustic with a Textile Sensibility, given by Daniella Woolf. The workshop was held at Zijdelings.
This one is one of the panels that I've made there. Recently I put it in a frame (there is a special Dutch name for it, of which I do not know the translation). Not all panels are doing well with that specific frame. Or not any so far. It looks too much like a tile ....
Now my Quilten Speciaal assignment is finished, I can finally dig (?) into this medium (together with 10 other projects that I still want to finish)
